Ws on losses in tournament finals: “It’s our carry’s curse.”

Aurora Gaming offlaner Chang “Ws” Wei Shen answered a question in an interview at BLAST Slam VII about the team’s poorer performance in the group stage of the current tournament compared to DreamLeague Season 29.
After we made it to the DreamLeague finals, our opponents started studying us and learning how to counter our picks. Plus, we’re experimenting with new ideas right now. That’s the thing.
[Question: “The team has reached the finals multiple times, but hasn’t lifted the trophy yet. Do you feel like you can do it soon, or is there some kind of ‘curse’ on you?”]
That’s our carry’s curse. If I’m not mistaken, he’s finished in second place 8 or 9 times.
[Comment: “You can help him.”]
I’m trying.
Aurora Gaming finished in second place at DreamLeague Season 29. The team advanced to the upper bracket and made it to the final, where they lost to PARIVISION 2-3. In the group stage at BLAST Slam VII, Aurora has currently won one match out of four played.
