Yellow Submarine support player Egor “Xakoda” Lipartia commented on Telegram about his performance at the 2026 Games of the Future in Dota 2.

...> Unfortunately, we lost. We didn’t finish last, but we finished right after last place. I’m really upset because I played very poorly individually in the last two games. It’s just that at some point, my energy started to fade, and I started to feel off. My head started to ache during the second game, and by the third, I couldn’t even think straight because the day of play had been too long. That’s how it felt. It was also because I hadn’t eaten well. In short, there were some rough patches, plus the fatigue had built up, and because of that, I felt like I played poorly. Of course, that’s no excuse, but in part, that’s exactly how it felt.

Otherwise, the tournament itself wasn’t bad; I wanted to go as far as possible, but it just didn’t work out. I wanted to say thanks to bottega and kae—for covering our buy-ins for this tournament; otherwise, we might not have been able to play at all. Thanks to them, we were able to get this opportunity in the first place.

After we finished those games, I was absolutely starving, insanely tired—I could barely stay on my feet. It felt, you know, like I’d been on a 20-hour flight where I didn’t sleep, but just stood there staring straight ahead. It had that kind of vibe.

Right now, I’m planning to head home on August 6 and try to take care of some things for a couple of days before I leave. At the same time, we’ll be playing another tournament with the main roster, and on August 11, I’ll be flying to Serbia. Anyway, that’s about it. Everything’s going to happen so fast, so unexpectedly. I’m a little blown away myself. <...>

Thanks to everyone who supported me, and sorry for playing so poorly in the last two games. I feel like those last two games were the worst two games of my career. Have a great evening, everyone!
