Xm on the team’s growth at the 2026 Dota 2 Esports World Cup: “One of our main areas of improvement has been the laning phase.”
Vici Gaming mid laner Go “Xm” Hongcheng, in an interview at the 2026 Esports World Cup, named the team’s biggest improvement and his favorite hero at the tournament.
On his feelings about the victory over 1w Team in the survival stage
It’s great to make it into the top 8, so that’s about it.
On what has been one of the team’s biggest improvements
One of our biggest improvements was the laning phase. We learned a lot from Team Yandex; we watched replays of their games and adapted our playstyle accordingly.
On which hero he’s most proud of playing in this tournament
I’d say it’s Earth Spirit. Once he reaches level 25, he becomes a completely different and very powerful hero. He’s a lot of fun to play.
Earlier, Vici Gaming carry Go “Shiro” Xuanan commented on the victory over 1w Team at the 2026 Esports World Cup in Dota 2, discussed the team’s mood after the match, and shared his thoughts on playing Lina in the carry role.
