Yellow Submarine defeated Execration, and Rune Eaters defeated Midas Club in the Games of the Future 2026 Dota 2 group stage.

Yellow Submarine and Rune Eaters emerged victorious in their matches against Execration and Midas Club, respectively, on the first day of the group stage of the 2026 Games of the Future Dota 2 tournament.

Andrey “bottega” Kopytko’s team defeated Execration on both maps, finishing the first in 42 minutes and the second in 44.

Rune Eaters confidently took down Midas Club, dominating both maps and leaving their opponent no chance to turn the series around.

Thus, Yellow Submarine and Rune Eaters secured their first wins, while Execration and Midas Club suffered their first losses.

Games of the Future 2026 for Dota 2 is taking place from July 31 to August 5 in Astana. Teams are competing for a prize pool of $1,000,000 at the tournament. The defending champion is Win, which defeated Vikings 2-0 in the final of the previous championship.
