Yellow Submarine will replace Virtus.pro at the 2026 Games of the Future for Dota 2

The organizers of the 2026 Games of the Future have released a new list of participants on the tournament’s official Telegram channel, which lists Yellow Submarine in place of Virtus.pro.

Virtus.pro was supposed to replace Nigma Galaxy in the tournament after the organization withdrew from the competition without explanation. However, Virtus.pro itself has not yet disclosed the details behind its decision to withdraw from the Games of the Future 2026.

The Games of the Future 2026 Dota 2 tournament will take place from July 31 to August 5 in Astana, Kazakhstan. Teams in the tournament will compete for a total prize pool of $1,000,000. The defending champion is Win, which defeated Vikings 2-0 in last season’s final.
