Coldstar on the map changes in MLBB: “The new modifiers are way cooler than the previous ones.”

The MCC regular season has come to an end—we finished it in first place. The second half went extremely smoothly and comfortably for us: we didn’t drop a single map. We’re now at boot camp, planning to train hard for the playoffs so we can reach our peak form.

Masha, of course, feels most at home in the roam. As for the meta on the EXP lane, it’s been shifting toward tanks for quite some time now—since the summer. Fighters and assassins are played more often in the jungle, so you need to fill the front line somewhere. EXP laners often take on this role.

Some roammers are currently performing well on the EXP lane: they can fulfill their roles, handle wave clearing effectively, and have good matchups against other meta EXP laners.

I think I was nominated for Coach of the Year by the Esports Awards because we won the Esports World Cup. It was incredibly gratifying and awesome to see myself among such legends and titans of esports.

Winning will certainly be tough, but I’d really appreciate it if you’d vote for me on the Esports Awards website.

I think the new modifiers are way cooler than the previous ones. They look interesting and can have a strategic impact on gameplay and drafts. I think you’ll see all of that in the playoffs.

I watched the MPL Philippines and Indonesia this week. It seemed like the Asian teams haven’t fully adapted to the changes yet and haven’t quite figured out the modifiers. But I think they’ll understand them better over time.

I hope we’ll also be able to train effectively enough this week to fully grasp the situation surrounding these modifiers. It’ll be interesting—come to the playoffs and cheer for Spirit. Thank you all.
