Guangzhou Gaming defeated True Rippers in the quarterfinals of the group stage of the 2026 MLBB Mid Season Cup.

Guangzhou Gaming defeated True Rippers 2-0 in the Group A lower bracket quarterfinals of the 2026 MLBB Mid Season Cup.

The first map ended in 12 minutes in favor of the Chinese team, which was able to gain an early advantage and finish the game quickly. In the final map, which lasted 17 minutes, Guangzhou Gaming started off trailing, but the team managed to take down the Lord, destroy the outer turrets, and win a crucial team fight that turned the game around and secured the victory.

Thanks to this victory, Guangzhou Gaming advanced to the Group A lower bracket semifinals, while True Rippers were eliminated from the competition, finishing in 13th–16th place.

The group stage of the MLBB Mid Season Cup 2026 is taking place from July 22 to 26 in Paris, France. Sixteen teams are competing for a prize pool of $3,550,000, and only eight of them will secure spots in the championship’s playoff stage.
