Hirara became the most popular hero in the group stage of the MLBB Mid Season Cup 2026
The editors of the Liquipedia news portal have compiled statistics from the group stage of the 2026 MLBB Mid Season Cup. The results for Mobile Legends: Bang Bang heroes in the tournament have been published on the online encyclopedia’s official website.
A total of 45 matches were played, featuring 67 of the 129 heroes currently available. The most popular picks of the stage were Hirara (28 times), Eidora (25 times), Uranus (24 times), Ling (23 times), and Belerik (22 times). It’s worth noting that the new assassin’s win rate was 57.14%. Marcel was banned in 39 matches (ban rate of 86.67%) and appeared in only 4, all of which saw him on the winning team. Apart from Marcel, the most frequently banned heroes in the group stage were Freya (35 times), Atlas (33 times), Fanny (31 times), and Fovius (23 times). Despite their high power level in the current meta, Cloud, Pakito, and Zhuxin won only 47.37%, 38.89%, and 42.86% of their matches, respectively.
The group stage of the MLBB Mid Season Cup 2026 took place from July 22 to 26 at the Lenovo Legion Gauntlet arena in Paris, France. Of the sixteen teams, eight—including ONIC, Team Spirit, and Team Falcons PH—advanced to the knockout stage, where they are currently competing for the title of international tournament champion as part of the Esports World Cup 2026.
