I DID: “Our roster worked on correcting our mistakes and got rid of some bad playing habits.”

Niightmare Esports mid laner Marcelino Grijaldo “I DID” In an interview with the organizers of the MLBB Mid Season Cup 2026, Semontina discussed the victory over The MongolZ in the wild-card stage of the tournament and explained which mistakes the team’s players had corrected.
On the victory over The MongolZ
We trained a lot before this match. Our team worked on our mistakes and got rid of some bad gaming habits. We made sure we could perform well after a disappointing group stage.
On working on mistakes
One bad habit we can point to is short calls from every player on the team. We assigned the responsibility of calling to one person so that team communication wouldn’t get overloaded. Before, any of us could call, which made our communication very chaotic. Now Nomed handles that. We also worked on reducing the number of unnecessary deaths.
On Motivating the Roster
Before we started playing in the play-in stage, I told the team: “Let’s enjoy the game, let’s respect our opponents, but let’s shake off the fear that plagued us in the group stage. Back then, we were just warming up. Now we need to get back in the game.”
Niightmare Esports defeated The MongolZ 2–1 in the MSC 2026 Wild Card Challenge stage, after which they faced off against Team Falcons. The teams played two maps, both of which were won by the “Falcons,” resulting in the I DID team finishing the competition in 20th–21st place.
