Lutpiii: “In the current meta, teams are using heroes on the exp lane who can withstand a large amount of damage.”

ONIC’s offlaner Mok “Lutpiii” Ardianto, in an interview with the organizers of the MLBB Mid Season Cup 2026, identified the team’s weaknesses that became apparent in their match against Aurora Gaming at the tournament in Paris and reflected on the current state of the Selangor Red Giants.
On the issues in the match against Aurora Gaming
I think gameplay is our weak spot. We made quite a few mistakes during the game. Although we’re still facing certain challenges, our roster is working to address them.
On Selangor Red Giants
SRG looks like a very strong team, but in my opinion, its players haven’t fully adapted to the meta yet. This is likely due to the recently released patch. Our team probably faces a similar issue as well.
On the meta in the experience lane
In the current meta, teams are using heroes on the experience lane who can withstand a large amount of damage. This is due to changes in the jungle; now, junglers mainly play assassins. As a result, experience lane players have to stop focusing on dealing damage and concentrate on defense instead. As for me, I’ve already fully adapted to the current state of affairs and am comfortable playing as a tank.
At the time of this publication, ONIC is facing off against Selangor Red Giants in the Group B lower bracket semifinals of the MLBB Mid Season Cup 2026. The team that wins this match will advance to the playoffs, while the losing roster will be eliminated from the tournament.
