Aurevia Team jungler Eduard “Magistor” Rukosuev spoke in an interview on Danila “Wizer” Schneider’s Twitch channel about working with Vladimir “Pluto” Misyurin as a coach, practice matches against other teams, and his favorite heroes.
It’s totally awesome. He comes up with so many ideas—especially when it comes to macro. It’s just awesome. Like, if we screw up a game—he immediately, boom, breaks it down, pointing out who screwed up where and all that.
We practiced against RAKUZAN and Team Spirit. We played against Spirit the most. We wanted to play against Team Yandex, but they didn’t set it up. Well, I don’t know—this whole logic of not playing against the guys you’ll face in the tournament… I don’t really *** [care]. I’ve been playing my whole life, and I’ve never had any problems.
I have a lot of heroes. All of this was, well, overplayed, to put it bluntly. I played ranked on streams, we often picked them in practice matches, and we just frequently played ranked with a full roster at bootcamp.
[Wizer: Do you have a full roster—Harley and Nolan?] The two best heroes—yes, but the rest are different.
Aurevia Team qualified for the M8 World Championship thanks to victories over Level UP and Team Yandex in the MLBB Continental Championships Season 8 playoffs. On October 31, Magistor’s team will face Yandex for a spot in the MCC Season 8 grand final.
