Mobile Legends: Bang Bang Test Server Update as of July 17, 2026: Aldos buff and brawl mode rebalance

On July 17, MOONTON Games released an update for the Mobile Legends: Bang Bang test server, which reworked the hero Aldos, adjusted character balance in Brawl Mode, and brought Survival Mode back to the game.

Hero Changes

The hero receiving significant changes in this update is Aldos (↑). The symbols (↑) (↓) (~) indicate a buff, nerf, and change, respectively.

Aldos (↑)

Lane heroes should play a leading role in early skirmishes. Aldos’s reliance on Skill 1 charges to deal damage forced him to passively farm at the start of the match—this made the character completely out of sync with the team’s pace.

To improve his early-game combat potential while preserving his core gameplay, we’ve optimized the mechanics for gaining charges by killing minions with his first ability.

Passive Ability (↑)

  • Gains a shield on the third basic attack. Cooldown: 5 seconds >> Gains a shield on the next basic attack every 8 seconds.

Skill 1 (↑)

  • New effect: Gains 20% movement speed while chasing enemy heroes as long as the ability is active;
  • New effect: Gains 4 “Soul Steal” charges if the attack hits an enemy hero.

Skill 2 (~)

  • Removed movement speed bonus;
  • Base Damage: 100–200 >> 200–300;
  • Max Damage: 200–400 >> 400–600.

System Changes

Main Menu Interface Optimization

To make the main menu interface clearer and more intuitive, the following changes have been made:

  • Status information in the friends list has been simplified;
  • The resource bar at the top of the interface has been optimized. Tickets are no longer displayed.

New User Settings

We’ve taken player preferences into account and added the ability to adjust the size of medium and large buttons in the user interface.

Seasonal Achievements

  • The requirements and descriptions for some new achievements have been optimized;
  • Your current progress and earned rewards will remain unchanged;
  • We’ve added the ability to view seasonal rewards on the preview screen;
  • Added the ability to earn multiple rewards for tasks at the same time;
  • Fixed bugs related to the Prioritize Flex Pro Style Plate feature.

Battle Achievements Interface

  • The teammates’ achievements screen will now appear just 2 seconds after the hero’s animation;
  • Earning the Supreme Medal for the first time will trigger an on-screen tutorial;
  • Battle achievements are now organized by category. When multiple achievements of the same type are earned, the medal with the highest level will be displayed by default;
  • The “Share Image” feature has been optimized—some interactive buttons have been removed, and the content-sharing interface has been simplified.

Highlights Icon

  • If you earn more than three Highlight Badges, they will be collapsed, and their total number will be displayed next to them;
  • When you earn a Highlight icon for the first time, a tutorial video will play.

Highlights Notification

  • We’ve slightly lowered the threshold for triggering Highlight notifications in matches up to the “Epic” rank;
  • The automatic emote feature will now trigger only when you receive notifications from highlights;
  • The avatar to the right of some highlight notifications has been removed;
  • We’ve optimized text clarity in the notification area by adjusting background colors and fonts.
