The developers of Mobile Legends: Bang Bang have announced that four battlefield modifiers will soon be removed from the game, along with visual improvements to the map and the addition of new effects and mechanics.
Starting September 15, matches featuring “Broken Walls,” “Dangerous Thickets,” “Flying Clouds,” and “Raging Rivers,” and Sanctuary Island will receive a visual update that will improve the quality of the map’s textures, landscape elements, and structures. The Lord’s appearance and animations will also become more colorful and detailed.
Along with this, the developers announced the arrival of new mechanics on the battlefield in the future. MOONTON Games revealed that in Competitive Season 42, which starts on September 16, three new features will be added to Sanctuary Island: beacons that, when activated, reveal the location of the nearest opponent; reinforced golden towers, which grant players an additional gold reward when destroyed; and an allied Turtle, which appears after the Turtle boss is defeated on one of the lanes of the team that defeated it and assists that team by healing and destroying structures.
Earlier, the MLBB developers announced the launch of a contest for original Khufra designs. The most talented artists will receive various prizes: $5,000, 1,000 to 20,000 diamonds, and a unique in-game avatar frame.
