Nagib on Level UP’s goals for the MLBB Continental Championships Season 8: “Obviously, we want to make it into the top 3.”
Level UP roamer Maxim “Nagib” Dudich spoke in an interview at the MLBB Continental Championships Season 8 following their victory over Rune Eaters, and also reflected on his team’s mindset and their goals for this tournament.
On the victory over Rune Eaters
We didn’t finish the game there, but the guys [from Rune Eaters] played well. We just got off to a bad start in the second game. It was definitely tough to play tanks against their draft—we probably should’ve picked Chichu.
On Level UP’s morale
What can I say? The guys are motivated—well done. To be honest, though, [it was] an uneventful match—it was as if not everyone was fully awake yet; we thought we’d wrap this up easily. <...> The team atmosphere is good. After this match, we’ll analyze [our performance].
On the team’s goals for the MLBB Continental Championships Season 8
I don’t know how it’ll turn out. Obviously, we want to make it into the top 3, just like all the other teams. There are three slots for the international tournament—two via wild card and one directly to M8. Given the current situation, beating Yandex and Spirit will, of course, be quite difficult for any team. That’s probably the ultimate [goal]. Sure, it’s possible to beat both teams, <...> but we have to work our way up to that.
Yesterday, Level UP defeated Rune Eaters 2–1 on the third day of competition at the MLBB Continental Championships Season 8. Currently, Nagib’s team is in third place in the tournament’s regular season.
