Alpha7 Esports mid laner Nathaniel Sampe “Nathzz” Estrologue, in an interview with the organizers of the MLBB Mid Season Cup 2026, named his most effective hero and commented on ZIA’s gold laner’s performance as Ruby.
On Alice
Alice is definitely my go-to pick. When damage-dealing heroes returned to the mid lane meta, Alice became one of my main characters. I can pick her and be confident that I won’t lose.
On Ruby in the Gold Lane
This is the signature pick of our gold-tier player, ZIA. He enjoys playing both fighters and marksmen. So he’s capable of performing well with heroes like Ruby. We can expect him to play other characters as well.
On Harita
If we had won the second map of the match against King of Gamers Club, we obviously wouldn’t have picked Harit. At one point, we thought it over and concluded that we were lacking damage, while Harit is among the strongest gold laners in the current meta. He can also be flexed with other heroes. I would have picked Benedetta, since she pairs well with marksmen. It’s a good combo for us.
Alpha7 Eports secured a spot in the MSC 2026 wild-card playoffs after defeating King Of Gamers Club, however, Nathzz’s team failed to reach the stage’s grand final after losing 1–2 to The Huns Esports, resulting in their elimination from the competition and a 18th–19th-place finish.
