ONIC advanced to the semifinals of the MLBB Mid Season Cup 2026, while Aurora Gaming was eliminated from the competition.

ONIC defeated Aurora Gaming 3-2 in the quarterfinals of the MLBB Mid Season Cup 2026 playoffs and advanced to the tournament’s semifinals.

The Turkish team took the first map in 9 minutes. ONIC then seized the initiative and destroyed the enemy base at the 11-minute mark. In the third round, Aurora defeated the Lord, and shortly thereafter wiped out the entire enemy team to clinch the game. On the fourth map, the Indonesians proved to be the stronger team, after which the teams moved on to the decisive fifth round of the match, which ONIC won.

As a result of the series, ONIC became the second team to advance to the MSC 2026 semifinals, while Aurora Gaming finished the tournament in 5th–8th place and earned $100,000 in prize money. Grant “Kelra” Pillás’s team will next face Team Spirit; the teams will play each other tomorrow, July 31.

The MLBB Mid Season Cup 2026 playoffs are taking place from July 1 to August 1 in Paris, France. Eight of the sixteen qualifying teams are competing for the championship title. The prize pool for this international competition, part of the Esports World Cup 2026, totals $3,025,000.
