This is incredible. We can’t believe what just happened because this is the first time something like this has happened to us. Our run at the previous MSC ended early, so now we’re really happy that we’ve made it further.

Before the Grand Final began, I had data ready on the top-4 teams besides us—that is, Alpha7 Esports, The Huns Esports, and so on. I gathered the information over the course of a day, so we were ready for any opponent we might face.

To be honest, Balmond is a very unconventional pick. Most of our heroes were banned in the grand final—our usual first, second, and third picks. So we decided to pick Balmond as our fourth or fifth pick, even though he’s difficult to play against heavy crowd control. But we believed in him and decided to see how it would go. Our initial strategy with an assassin in the jungle didn’t work out, so we adjusted our draft for that position. We decided to focus on team coordination.
