aliStair on being eliminated from the IEM Cologne Major: “A 3–13 match isn’t good enough.”

THUNDERdOWNUNDER captain Alistair “aliStair” Johnston assessed the recent match against FlyQuest in an interview at the IEM Cologne Major 2026 and also spoke about his teammates.
On the match against FlyQuest on Inferno
This was our first match against them, even though we’ve been around for a while and, you could say, have been competing against each other in a way. I’m glad my guys hung in there until the end, but losing is always unpleasant, and a 3-13 score isn’t good enough.
On teammates
We enjoy playing together; we have great team chemistry. We’ll keep moving forward because it’s our love for the game that unites us.
Earlier today, THUNDERdOWNUNDER suffered a shutout loss against FlyQuest—10-13 on Anubis and 3-13 on Inferno. As a result, the team finished IEM Cologne Major 2026 in 12th–14th place, while their opponent will continue to fight for a spot in the second stage of the Major.
