Team Spirit support Alexander “rue” Filin spoke about his teammates in an interview at BLAST SLAM VIII.
Yatoro is a hard carry; he makes good calls and has an excellent pool, so opponents need to fear him. Larl is a freak—he can pull off some crazy moves. He’s very active, and that’s what makes him strong.
Batyuk is a rookie; we don’t know much about him, but he’s actually pretty good, and I’m glad to play with him. not me is just a lucky guy with good microskills; he uses his abilities skillfully and tries to help everyone. He helps my carry, midlaner, and offlaner—he’s a true support.
BLAST SLAM VIII is the first tournament for the “Dragons” since The International 2026, where the Eastern European club became three-time TI champions. After that, offlaner Magomed “Collapse” Khalilov and coach Yaroslav “Miposhka” Naidenov took breaks from their careers; they are now being replaced by Bogdan “Batyuk” Batyuk and Ilya “Illidan” Pivtsaev, respectively. With its current roster, Spirit took second place at SLAM VIII, losing to Team Yandex 1–3 in the grand final.
