Astralis advanced to the semifinals of BLAST Bounty Summer 2026, while paiN Gaming was eliminated from the event

Astralis secured a victory in the quarterfinal match of the BLAST Bounty 2026 Season 2 playoffs.
The team faced off against paiN Gaming—on the first map, Nuke, the Brazilian squad defeated their opponents 13-10, but lost the next map, Inferno, 17-19. On the decisive map, Mirage, Rasmus “HooXi” Nielsen’s team once again proved to be the stronger side, securing a 16–14 victory.
As a result, Astralis advanced to the semifinals of BLAST Bounty 2026 Season 2, while paiN Gaming finished the event in 5th–8th place and earned $75,000 in prize money.
BLAST Bounty 2026 Season 2 runs from July 21 to August 2. Thirty-two teams are participating in the tournament. The LAN stage is being held at BLAST Arena Studios in Malta. All matches, with the exception of the best-of-5 (bo5) final, will be played in a best-of-3 (bo3) format.
