The Danish organization Astralis published a financial report in which it announced that it ended 2025 with significant losses.
The club’s total deficit amounted to $2,940,000, 20% of which was attributed to player contracts. However, Astralis’s financial situation is projected to improve by the end of 2026—the organization’s expenses have been cut, and its staff has been reduced from 18 to 11 people. It is known that the restructuring process required more investment than expected—in part because of this, the CS2 roster members’ salaries were delayed in December. Although Astralis ended last year with significant losses, it is no longer at risk of closing. The club is now actively seeking new investments, which, according to the new owners, will ensure its long-term stability.
In September 2025, Fusion Esports Group acquired a controlling stake in Astralis—the organization’s new owners are BLAST co-founder Jakob Lund and former Ninjas in Pyjamas COO Jonas Gundersen.
