BanKs: “I like s1mple; I want him to get back to the top and deliver results.”

Host James “BanKs” Banks, in a new episode of the All About Counter-Strike podcast, discussed the roster changes at Gaimin Gladiators, assessed possible changes to Team Liquid’s lineup, and stated that he would like to see Alexander “s1mple” Kostylev on the Tier 1 scene.
On the roster changes at Gaimin Gladiators
Gaimin Gladiators benched their entire team. I’m not particularly surprised—this was an aging roster, and no young talent was coming through. …> For those who aren’t familiar with Gaimin Gladiators: the organization still has a pretty solid Dota 2 roster. It’s not a particularly small organization, and it isn’t tied to Brazil.
On possible roster changes at Team Liquid
There are rumors that Team Liquid is considering JT as their new IGL. This would mean siuhy would leave, and JT would take his place. If we think about it, siuhy was a decent captain, but not particularly good. While at Team Liquid, he worked with many coaches and went through major roster changes. He didn’t have the stability needed to try to build something. Still, I think he had enough time to make the team better. …> Team Liquid is a big organization; it needs results, but it’s not even close to making the playoffs.
On Senzu’s signing with BC.Game Esports and s1mple
They did everything they could to keep him on the team. So, despite everything, s1mple said, “Yeah, it’s better to keep Senzu.” I have mixed feelings about this. I like s1mple; I want him to get back to the top and deliver results. But right now, the team can’t rack up VRS points; they have to grind it out at online events—Tier 2 and Tier 3 championships. That’s not where s1mple can really shine. I don’t understand what’s going on with this team. Who’s the IGL? How is all this going to work out?
In the previous episode of the podcast, host James “BanKs” Banks stated that G2 Esports management had to bench Álvaro “SunPayus” García because the coaching staff didn’t see the results they wanted from the sniper at major tournaments.
