BetBoom Team advanced to the second stage of the IEM Cologne Major

BetBoom Team and TYLOO won their matches in the first stage of the IEM Cologne Major 2026.

Both matches were played in a best-of-3 format. BetBoom Team faced GamerLegion and closed out their pick, Nuke, with a score of 13-2, and also managed to pull ahead on Ancient, winning 13-8.

In a parallel match, TYLOO faced off against SINNERS Esports. The Chinese team managed to win on Ancient in overtime with a score of 16-14. The second map, Inferno, also went in their favor—13-10.

Thus, BetBoom Team secured three wins and became the first team to advance to the second stage of the IEM Cologne Major 2026.

The Intel Extreme Masters Cologne Major 2026 is taking place from June 2 to 21 in Cologne, Germany. The event is divided into four stages: Stage 1, Stage 2, Stage 3, and the playoffs. 32 teams are participating in the tournament, which has a prize pool of $1,250,000.
