BIG, K27, 100 Thieves, and JijieHao have qualified for the Esports World Cup 2026 in CS2
Today marked the end of the Last Chance Qualifier for the 2026 CS2 Esports World Cup—four teams have secured their spots in the main stage of the tournament. They are BIG, K27, 100 Thieves, and JijieHao.
A total of 64 teams participated in the group stage. The competition began with a GSL-style group stage, where teams were divided into 16 groups of four teams each. The top two teams from each group advanced to the playoffs, which were played in a single-elimination format. All matches in the tournament were played in a best-of-three (bo3) format.

The Esports World Cup 2026: Last Chance Qualifier took place from August 7 to 9, with teams competing for four spots in the main stage of the championship. The main tournament of the series, with a total prize pool of $2 million, will begin 8 days after the conclusion of the qualifying stage.
