Details have been revealed regarding the LAN qualifiers for the 2027 Esports World Cup

The Esports Foundation has announced the qualifiers for the 2027 Esports World Cup in Counter-Strike 2. Information about this was posted on the tournament’s website.

The qualifiers are scheduled to take place from July 16 to 18, 2027, in Riyadh. The event will feature 128 teams that have paid a $100 entry fee. Clubs will need to bring their rosters to Saudi Arabia at their own expense—the organizers will not cover their costs but will provide computers. Of all participants, only four will receive invitations to the group stage of the 2027 Esports World Cup. The prize pool for the qualifiers will be $100,000.

Earlier, the Esports Foundation announced that it would host the Esports World Cup CS2 series in 2027 and 2028. The LAN events will take place in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, with a total prize pool of $2,000,000.
