Devilwalk on 1w Team’ CS2 roster: “It’s hard not to cheer for this team”

BanKs: The fact that nafany, Ax1Le, and groove made it to the playoffs of a major tournament in 2026 takes me back to the Gambit days. And they’re not the only ones performing well. For example, BELCHONOKK is the team’s top-ranked player. He’s racking up a lot of multi-kills and is finally starting to live up to his potential.

Devilwalk: This five-man lineup has definitely raised its value at the top level. I haven’t seen ArtFr0st on a decent team in a long time. He was good at Team Spirit when he was first promoted to the main roster from the academy. fame is an equally excellent player. I think 1w Team has put together a solid roster. All the players have experience competing on major stages. They managed to break into the Tier 1 scene by participating in tournaments out of love for CS and paying for all their travel expenses out of their own pockets. It’s hard not to root for this team.

BanKs: If BELCHONOKK continues to play this well, PARIVISION might try to bring him back, which could hurt 1w Team. ArtFr0st, on loan from BetBoom Team, is currently in a similar situation. In the long run, the team could lose its players—that’s truly scary.

Devilwalk: BELCHONOKK went through dastan’s school, learned all the lessons, and became a strong player.

BanKs: I wonder if groove puts just as much pressure on the team?

Devilwalk: I think he’s a more reserved coach than dastan.

BanKs: Yeah, groove seems much calmer. I’d describe him as military-like—he’s reserved, but he’ll definitely point out every mistake you make.
