ESL announced that it will host Intel Extreme Masters in the U.S. in 2027

Tournament organizer ESL has announced that it will host the Intel Extreme Masters tournament in the U.S. in 2027. The information was posted on the organizer’s official website.
Following this year’s successful tournament in Atlanta, we are pleased to announce that Intel Extreme Masters (IEM) will return to the United States in 2027.
Our IEM tournament in the United States will be part of the prize pool and payouts for teams and players as part of the ESL Pro Tour 2027, with a total value exceeding $11.45 million.
The announcement specifies that the tournament will take place from April 5 to 11 of next year. Sixteen teams will compete for the championship prize pool, which will total $1,000,000.

Earlier, tournament organizer ESL published a list of rules for the IEM Cologne Major 2026 community cast. It states that violating the listed rules will result in the live stream being blocked.
