GamerLegion and MIBR have advanced to the second stage of the IEM Cologne Major

GamerLegion and MIBR proved stronger than their opponents in the first stage matches of the IEM Cologne Major 2026 and advanced to the second stage of the tournament.
In the first match, GamerLegion faced off against BIG. The German team lost the first map, Overpass, in overtime with a score of 14-16, and Ancient 11-13.
In a parallel match, MIBR faced Lynn Vision Gaming, where the Brazilian team managed to close out Anubis with a score of 13-3 and Inferno with a score of 13-2.
Thus, GamerLegion and MIBR advanced to the second stage of the IEM Cologne Major 2026, while BIG and Lynn Vision Gaming went to the 2-2 bracket and will continue their fight.
The IEM Cologne Major 2026 kicked off on June 2 and will run through June 21 in Cologne, Germany. Thirty-two teams are participating in the tournament, which features a $1,250,000 prize pool. The championship is divided into four stages: Stage 1, Stage 2, Stage 3, and the playoffs.
