HEROIC has been eliminated from the IEM Cologne Major, while M80 has advanced to the second stage

HEROIC lost their elimination match and exited the IEM Cologne Major 2026, while M80 proved stronger than their opponent and advanced to the second stage of the tournament.

The first match featured HEROIC and Team Liquid. Team Liquid confidently closed out the first map, Nuke, with a score of 13-5, and won Inferno 13-11.

In a parallel match, M80 faced off against NRG. Elias “s1n” Stein’s team won Ancient 13-6 and finished Inferno with a score of 13-10.

Thus, HEROIC exited the IEM Cologne Major 2026, while M80 advanced to the second stage of the tournament. Meanwhile, Team Liquid and NRG were relegated to the lower bracket with a 2-2 record.

The IEM Cologne Major 2026 began on June 2 and will run through June 21 in Cologne, Germany. Thirty-two teams are participating in the event, which features a $1,250,000 prize pool. The tournament is divided into four stages: Stage 1, Stage 2, Stage 3, and the playoffs.
