PARIVISION rifler Abay “HObbit” Khasenov, in an interview with Vladislav “stariy_bog” Levents at 1win Private Club #2, he discussed the match against Fnatic, the team’s preparation for upcoming games, and adapting to the new roster.
I think these things happen. They really put pressure on our weak spot. We’ve only been playing together for—well, how long?—two weeks. And there, I think, Dan, you know, you have to play smart against flash plays, cut them off, and make the right movements. We’re not quite ready for Inferno yet, so they found that exact weakness and started applying pressure. That’s why I think this is good for future matches—we’ll prepare now.
fear is next level—well done. He’s seriously next level, to be honest. For example, you’ll prepare for them, but their pattern is completely different—it keeps changing—and I have huge respect for him because of that. Overall, the game was, to be honest, okay—we should’ve won, everything was fine. It’s just that, again, because there are a lot of things we haven’t discussed yet, and I’m not quite in top form yet—I’ll speak for myself specifically. And that happens.
There’s a lot of work to do, so I’m taking it step by step. First, [I need to] understand how we play, then communicate with the more experienced guys so that we can be... Oh man, to be honest, there’s a lot of work. It’s not like we got together and—boom—the machine is running. <...> I’ve just limited myself from taking in too much information. If I try to tackle everything right now, I’ll just spread myself too thin.
Earlier, PARIVISION defeated Fnatic 2-1 in maps during the second day of competition at 1win Private Club #2. Today, HObbit’s team will face BIG in the upper bracket final of the tournament.
