jabbi will replace cmtry in Astralis’s remaining matches at Stake Ranked Episode 5
The Danish organization Astralis announced that Jakob “jabbi” Nygaard will play in its Counter-Strike 2 team’s remaining matches in Stake Ranked Episode 5 in place of Nikita “cmtry” Samoletov. The official announcement was made on the club’s page on the social media platform X.
Astralis Roster
- Viktor “Staehr” Schter
- Lav “phzy” Smidebrandt
- Gytis “ryu” Glusauskas
- Kamil “siuhy” Škaradek
- Jakob “jabbi” Nygaard (stand-in)
- Filip “NEO” Kubski (coach)
Currently, cmtry is listed on the FUT Esports VRS roster, which has not yet played five official matches with Álvaro “SunPayus” García. If the team loses in the quarterfinals of PGL Masters Bucharest 2026, Astralis risks missing the Major. Jabbi’s participation in Stake Ranked Episode 5 will help the Danish club improve its chances of securing an invite.
Earlier, Astralis lost to Fnatic in the upper bracket quarterfinals of Stake Ranked Episode 5 with a score of 0-2 on maps. Today, the team will face magic in a knockout match at the VRS tournament—the game is scheduled for 2:00 p.m. Moscow time.
