Kat spoke out about the level of support for women’s esports from organizations

Katarina “Kat” Vashkova, a rifler for the Clutchain Female CS2 team, shared her thoughts on the distribution of resources within clubs. A post assessing the conditions for women’s Counter-Strike 2 teams appeared on her personal page on social media platform X.

In general, women’s teams receive far less support from organizations compared to men’s rosters. Speaking from personal experience, I can confirm that our team always had only a coach at our disposal and nothing more, regardless of the tournament’s status—including even Tier 1 championships. At the same time, there are talented women who are fully capable of reaching the very top if their potential were developed as actively as it is for young male players.

Katarina “Kat” Vashkova gained widespread recognition thanks to her successful performances for Nigma Galaxy and Imperial Female. As a member of these teams, she won six consecutive ESL Impact League seasons and also claimed trophies at prestigious championships in Katowice and Valencia.
