MOUZ rifler Oldrich “PR” In an interview at the 2026 Esports World Cup for CS:GO, Novi shared his emotions after his team advanced to the tournament’s semifinals and analyzed the challenges the roster faced in their match against GamerLegion.
How did I feel before going online to face my former teammates from GamerLegion? Of course, this match was different from any other, since I’d played with these guys for over a year. It would be a lie to say that this fact didn’t affect me at all. I felt really fired up, the game turned out to be a lot of fun, and I think the viewers enjoyed it too. All in all, it was a great match.
Personally, I had a pretty good start on this map; everything was going smoothly. However, in overtime, I lost my cool and simply couldn’t land a single shot. I think that’s one of the main reasons we lost on Ancient—I missed too many crucial kills.
To be honest, I really didn’t want to lose to my former team. I have to admit, GamerLegion played very solid defense—but so did we. We pulled off a great comeback, and I’m incredibly happy about this victory. A big thank you to the fans for their support—the crowd here is simply amazing. I’d also like to say hello to my family and all my loved ones back home—I know you’re watching the stream, thank you.
Earlier, MOUZ defeated GamerLegion in their first playoff match at the Esports World Cup 2026 for Counter-Strike 2 with a 2-1 map score in a best-of-three series. Aldrich “PR” Novi’s team is currently facing off against FUT Esports in the quarterfinals of the Esports World Cup 2026 for CS2. At the time of this publication, MOUZ is trailing their opponent 5–8 on Dust2.
