Esports player Alexey “Qikert” Golubev posted on his personal Telegram channel, announcing his departure from Color and his desire to find a new team.
Qikert has been representing Color since August of this year—that’s when the players from 1w Team left the club’s bench. The rifler’s best result with the team was a 3rd-place finish at ESL Challenger League Season 52: Europe - Cup #4. Alexey commented on his departure as follows:

That’s it! I’m now a free agent and open to offers.
My priority is the captain’s position, but I’m also open to other options.
I’ve devoted myself entirely to the team lately: a lot of time and effort went into building the organization, developing the players, and putting together a winning roster. At one point, everything was really clicking for us—we were in great form and at the top of our game.
But after winning the tournament in Moscow, we hit a rough patch.
In short:
- We were forced to play with a 100-ping connection for 4
months - We had no way to strengthen the roster; the player market was extremely
limited - Surgery
And on top of that, too many unforeseeable circumstances beyond our control happened one after another. Don’t rush to draw harsh conclusions about the recent period :) We did our absolute best given the circumstances we found ourselves in.
But there’s no point in regretting anything. I gained a wealth of experience, and the goal remains the same—to build a strong, competitive team and compete in tournaments.
Earlier, Color, without Qikert, won the CCT Europe 2026 Series #8. In the final, the team secured a technical victory over Nemiga Gaming and earned $10,000. The team is currently ranked 57th in the VRS rankings.
