siuhy’s chances of staying with Team Liquid and s1mple’s future—highlights from the latest All About Counter-Strike podcast

Host James “BanKs” Banks appeared on the latest episode of the All About Counter-Strike podcast. Here’s a quick rundown of the highlights in our article.
On SunPayus being moved to G2 Esports’ bench, the 3DMAX roster, and Zinchenko parting ways with Passion UA
BanKs believes that sniper Álvaro “SunPayus” García was moved to G2 Esports’ bench because he was unable to regain his form. The host speculates that coach Eetu “sAw” Sahha tried to give the player time and a chance to prove himself, but his improvement was too slow.
In addition, James assessed the current situation at 3DMAX. In his opinion, Brian “Maka” Kanda and Kevin “misutaaa” Rabier are performing well, and Lucas “Lucky” Chastang is consistent. Therefore, Jeremy “Kursy” Gast may prove to be an asset to the team following his transfer.
Banks also noted that soccer player Oleksandr Zinchenko ended his partnership with Passion UA because, although he had spent a long time securing sponsors and helping the team, it ultimately didn’t yield results, and the roster is no longer Ukrainian.
On JT’s possible move to Team Liquid and the future of Ultimate
According to BanKs, Kamil “siuhy” Škaradek wasn’t a bad IGL, but it just didn’t work out at Team Liquid. His tenure as captain was rather unstable, with coaches and the roster itself changing frequently.
At the same time, the host confirmed rumors that negotiations are underway regarding Johnny “JT” Theodosiou’s move to Team Liquid.
James suggested that they also need to find a replacement for Roland “ultimate” Tomkovyak, because he likely won’t be able to deliver better results than he is currently.
On changes to the Gaimin Gladiators roster, the PARIVISION roster, the BC.Game Esports roster, and s1mple
BanKs believes that benching all Gaimin Gladiators players is an expected move. Nevertheless, the host is confident that the organization still has a solid Dota 2 roster.
It also came as no surprise that PARIVISION benched Andrey “BELCHONOKK” Yasinsky and Emil “nota” Moskvitin. James said it will be interesting to see how Abay “HObbit” Khasenov performs as a stand-in, since he hasn’t played at such a high level in a long time.
The host noted that BC.Game Esports did everything it could to keep Azbayar “Senzu” Munchbold on the team. Consequently, Alexander “s1mple” Kostylev agreed to this as well.
In addition, BanKs expressed hope that s1mple would be able to return to the top and show what he’s capable of.
