Ninjas in Pyjamas rifler Rasmus “sjuush” Beck spoke in an interview at the Esports World Cup 2026 following the match against BetBoom Team and also shared his thoughts ahead of the upcoming match against Astralis.
On the match against BetBoom Team
In my opinion, we played well overall. We were able to hold our own against them, especially on defense on Anubis. We always had entry kills. We lost two out of four pistol rounds, but despite that, we had everything under control.
On xKacpersky
He has a great feel for the game; he’s confident and believes in himself. It was the same on Nuke—he said, “I’m going to pick,” and it worked; he won his duels.
On the upcoming match against Astralis
It’s not really the same team it used to be, but it’s still Astralis. Of course, this match is important to us.
Earlier, Ninjas in Pyjamas swept BetBoom Team at the 2026 Esports World Cup in Counter-Strike 2. On the first map, Nuke, Marco “Snappi” Pfeiffer’s team pulled ahead 13–3, while Anubis ended 13–11. As a result, the Russian team was eliminated from the event, finishing in 25th–32nd place.
