Trav: “Right now, Tier 2 and Tier 3 are filled with an insane number of hastily assembled teams from the CIS.”

Commentator Travis “Trav” Landau Mott spoke out on his personal page on social media platform X about the emergence of a large number of new teams from the CIS.
Because of contracts and buyouts, there’s an insane number of hastily assembled teams from the CIS in Tier 2 and Tier 3 right now.
Led by TDK (who are actually really good), there are:
- ex-RUBY;
- Lavked (the core of Sparta Esports);
- Just Players (the core of FORZE Esports);
- Black Phoenix (the core of Ursa);
- Bebop (a mix of different players);
- Buttefly (Oxuji core);
- ex-RUSTEC.
And that’s not all. Unfortunately, when you watch their matches, many of these teams give the impression that they’re just playing to fill the roster. They rarely use the same lineup from match to match, and their overall skill level is also pretty weak... But I can’t blame them for accepting invitations to VRS tournaments, which they’ve earned through their own efforts.
Earlier, former pro player Martin “STYKO” Stik posted a list on social media platform X of the strongest esports players who haven’t yet managed to win a Counter-Strike Major. The list included GuardiaN, EliGE, KSCERATO, and frozen.
