Valve has changed the internal dollar exchange rate on Steam—one dollar is now worth 85 rubles instead of the previous 76 rubles. As a result, prices for in-game items and goods in Counter-Strike 2 have gone up.
The “Arsenal” pass now costs 1,360 rubles instead of 1,225 rubles, a case key costs 212 rubles instead of 191 rubles, and regular capsules cost 85 rubles instead of 76 rubles.
Valve last adjusted the dollar exchange rate on Steam in February 2026. At that time, the company lowered it from 85 to 76 rubles.
On August 11, Valve released a minor update for Counter-Strike 2, in which it added a reference to the “VACNet marking portal” and its logo. In addition, a “CS2 Video Review” section has appeared on the game’s official website. Presumably, it may be related to viewing match replays and could serve as an equivalent to the “Patrol” feature that existed in Counter-Strike: Global Offensive.
