zAAz spoke out about the state of the women’s competitive scene in CS2
Zainab “zAAz” Turki, a rifler for the Clutchain Female CS2 team, commented on the current state of the women’s competitive scene in the game on her personal page on social media platform X and criticized Valve.
I’ve been in esports for 24 years, 20 of which I’ve spent competing professionally. I’ve watched CS evolve from its very beginnings to the present day. But I’ve never seen such a massive downgrade of the women’s scene. Valve should be ashamed. I’m simply speechless.
Earlier, Victoria “tory” Kazieva, a teammate of zAAz, appeared on a new podcast on Artem “malik” Arkhipov’s YouTube channel, where she discussed the development of the women’s scene, its prospects, and a possible switch to a different discipline.
