
Analyst Ben “Noxville” Stenheisen shared statistical facts about The International 2026 in an article on Substack.
Noxville noted that the recording of the second map between Team Spirit and BetBoom Team (BoomBoys) is unavailable for viewing, so it may not be included in some statistics.
Over the course of 30 maps, Team Spirit selected the most different heroes—49—and also purchased the most Blink Daggers—80. PARIVISION (TEAM VISION) finished the tournament with an average of 31 kills and 73 assists and set a new record for gold per minute—2,841. Additionally, the team purchased the most Divine Rapier—8.
Team Yandex pulled off the only comeback against megacreeps and was the team that took the opponent’s first tower more often than any other—this happened in 74% of cases. Xtreme Gaming had the lowest rate in this category—18%.
Nigma Galaxy had the highest win rate in games lasting more than 50 minutes (82% over 11 maps). 1w Team (Iron Wing) managed to overcome the largest opponent lead—more than 37,000 in total value. This team played as the Forces of Light less often than the others—in only 19% of games—while Team Falcons, on the other hand, played on that side in 65% of cases.
Alan “Satanic” Galliamov achieved the highest total value—nearly 71,000—playing Lone Druid against BetBoom Team (BoomBoys). Ilya “Yatoro” Mulyarchuk recorded the most kills, sending 31 heroes to the tavern as Kez. Vladimir “No[o]ne-” Minenko’s winning streak on Earth Spirit was the longest, and Martin “Saksa” Sazdov killed 45 couriers out of 580 at TI.
The International 2026 took place in Shanghai from August 13 to 23; the prize pool currently exceeds $3.6 million—the highest level since 2022. Tournament participants ignored 17 heroes.
