A bug was discovered in the qualifiers for The International 2026 that strips Bane of his Nightmare ability

In the match between Roar Gaming and Cloud Rising during the first round of the lower bracket of the closed qualifiers for The International 2026 in China, Lloyd “LOyd” Bingjie encountered a bug related to Bane’s Nightmare ability.
On the first map of the series, after Bane died at the 20-minute mark, Nightmare was replaced by Nightmare End, preventing Roar Gaming’s support from using the ability for the remainder of the game. Despite this, RG managed to take the first map of the series, but Cloud Rising subsequently secured victories on the second and third maps.
Roar Gaming failed to qualify for The International 2026, exiting the closed qualifiers after a loss to Cloud Rising. CR, in turn, will play their next elimination match tomorrow at 10:00 AM Moscow time.
