On October 28, the developers of League of Legends: Wild Rift announced the changes for Patch 7.3d. In this update, balance changes affected a number of champions and items, as well as Baron Nashor.
Previously, Shyvana relied on fast jungle clearing to gain an early advantage and build power for the late game. However, now that jungle clear speeds across champions have become more balanced, Shyvana has lost some of her early-game advantage, and it has become harder for her to catch up. We’ve increased her power in human form but reduced her maximum strength. This will allow Shyvana to stay in the fight even when falling behind, while preventing her from becoming overly powerful once she reaches her full potential.
Key Stats
Double Dose
Scorch
Fire Breath
Dragon Landing
Following recent changes to attack speed, Camille’s combos have become less fluid than we intended. We’ve increased the attack speed bonus to make her combos smoother and more responsive.
Key Stats
Malfite is still a reliable pick, but his damage and durability are currently out of line. We’ve further reduced his burst damage and survivability to give his opponents more opportunities to fight back.
Granite Shield
Thunder Strike
Following a recent update, Ekko has been scaling faster than we anticipated and has been able to pull ahead too easily. We’ve slightly nerfed the champion to keep him in check.
Z-Drive Resonance
Temporal Key
Lee Sin has been struggling at all skill levels, so we’ve slightly increased his base damage and made his combos flow more smoothly to help him get back on track.
Key Stats
Dragon’s Fury
Akali has long struggled to find her place in the Rift. Instead of simply increasing her damage, we’ve boosted her early-game laning power and made her late-game combos smoother and faster, giving skilled Akali players more opportunities to outplay their opponents.
Key Stats
Since his recent update, Nasus has struggled to make an impact in Baron lane and team fights. We’ve decided to help him in these areas while reducing his wave clear speed to prevent him from becoming overly effective in the mid lane.
Key Stats
Phantom Fire
Sand Fury
Following her recent buff, Samira has become overly powerful. We’ve partially reverted her ability changes to bring Samira back to her previous power level, while still retaining all of her recent improvements.
Showboating
Inferno
Ash consistently outperforms other marksmen on the Dragon Lane at all skill levels. We’ve reduced her base attack damage in-game so that Ash’s power is more in line with that of other marksmen on the Dragon Lane.
Frost Shot
Following recent changes to marksman items and critical damage, Miss Fortune has begun to fall behind other champions. We’ve decided to help her get back on her feet and have buffed her to bring her in line with other marksmen.
Welcome Shot
Time to Die
Sion has long dominated both the Baron lane and the mid lane. We’ve slightly reduced his power in the lane and in team fights during the early and mid game, and we’ve also limited his ability to disrupt the enemy team’s plans in the late game.
Base Stats
Megaglue
Throw
Demon Hunter Arrows and the champions they were designed for still lag behind the rest. We’ve buffed the item’s stats so that its owners deal more damage after using their ultimate ability.
First Volley
Due to its high cost, Godbreaker was not as popular as other contenders for the first-item slot. We’ve reduced the item’s cost to increase its appeal in the early game and help players scale up their power a bit sooner.
Key Stats
Essence Reaver and the champions it was designed for are falling behind the rest in the current meta. We’ve buffed this item so it can compete with other options and not let down the champions who rely on it.
Base Stats
Whispering Diadem and Song Diadem are still superior to other options for support mages. We’ve reduced some of these items’ base stats to bring them in line with other support items and encourage players to use a wider variety of builds.

Base Stats
The Thunderstorm Razor has become a popular item among marksmen, as evidenced by its high pick rate and win rate. However, the movement speed bonus made it far too easy to evade enemies while still dealing significant damage. We decided to reduce the bonus so that opponents would have a chance to fight back.
Discharge
Securing the first Baron Nashor has become more rewarding following the recent update, but it still doesn’t impact the game as much as we had hoped. We’ve increased the power of Baron’s Palm so that securing such a major objective feels more significant and gives teams more opportunities to turn the tide of battle in their favor.
Baron’s Hand
As with the Baron’s Hand, teams were unable to turn their advantage in clearing minion waves into a powerful push. Now, when a team is ahead, its minions will take even less damage, allowing teams to capitalize on their advantage with a more powerful push and secure a chance to end the game.
The mechanics of tower damage accumulation made diving under towers in the early game an overly harsh challenge for both junglers and laners. We’ve slightly reduced the damage to give players more opportunities to play aggressively and successfully attack towers while laning.

In the previous patch, the Wild Rift developers adjusted the damage of several champions. Cain and Vladimir received buffs—they now deal 10% more damage, and Vladimir also takes 5% less damage.
