A minor update was released for Apex Legends on October 26. The developers fixed a vulnerability that allowed some players to participate in ranked matches without having RP deducted for joining.
The bug allowed players to bypass the RP deduction for entering a ranked match and earn more points for the same result. At higher ranks, this provided a particularly significant advantage due to the higher entry cost.
Previously, the Apex Legends developers announced changes for Seasons 31 and 32. Among them are Legend bans in high-rank matches, new ranks—“Iron,” “Emerald,” and “Grandmaster,” the division of ranked mode into two leagues, as well as a revamp of point accumulation, entry fees, and rewards.
