ATF on Suma1L at BLAST Slam VII: “I just messaged him, and two minutes later he had already agreed”

Team Falcons offlaner Ammar “ATF” al-Assaf and Team Liquid midlaner Michał “Nisha” Jankowski answered questions in an interview at BLAST Slam VII ahead of their teams’ match.
On playing against Suma1L
ATF: On the shuttle to the venue, Suma1L shared an interesting fact: every year, his contract requires him to play for us once.
We’re in good shape as a team; Suma1L joined unexpectedly: Malr1ne was supposed to get a visa, but the process got delayed. I’m really happy to be playing with Suma1L. Of course, I feel bad for Stanislav.
[Question: “Who invited Suma1L?”]
I just messaged him, and two minutes later he had already agreed.
On the approach to the playoffs
Nisha: I’m not sure we’ve changed much. We were doing pretty well, even though we got eliminated. We’re continuing with our previous strategies.
On other mid laners
Nisha: I can’t play against Malr1ne, so I was happy when I heard about the switch to Suma1L.
The winner of the Team Liquid vs. Team Falcons match will advance to the upper bracket semifinals, where they will face BetBoom Team tomorrow at 12:00 PM Moscow time. The loser of the series will continue in the lower bracket of the BLAST Slam VII playoffs.
