Beyond has returned to the Yakult Brothers Dota 2 roster; Xiang Yu has left the team
Yakult Brothers coach and manager Wang “Yakult” Hao announced on Weibo that Li “Xiangyu” Longwu has left the team’s Dota 2 starting roster.
Li “Xiangyu” Longwu is leaving the team following negotiations with the club. We thank the player for his performance in the qualifiers for The International 2026. With Longwu on the roster, the team advanced from the open qualifiers to the closed qualifiers but failed to secure a spot at the tournament in Shanghai. However, the team finished in second place at the 2026 Games of the Future in Dota 2.
Offlaner Xiang “Beyond” Zhenghong has returned to the roster after a one-year hiatus. The player left Yakult Brothers after The International 2025 and has now rejoined the team, helping it qualify for BLAST Slam VIII.
Xiang “Beyond” Zhenghong has returned to the roster to replace Li.

The revamped Yakult Brothers roster qualified for BLAST Slam VIII through the closed qualifiers for China. The group stage of the eighth championship in the series begins on September 29 and will be held remotely.
