BLAST has announced the dates for the qualifiers for the Dota 2 Slam series tournaments through the end of 2026
The organizers of the BLAST Slam series on X have revealed the dates for the qualifiers for the eighth and ninth Dota 2 events.
BLAST Slam VIII

Open Qualifiers:
- Europe: August 26–27;
- Southeast Asia: August 26–27;
- China: August 26–27.

Closed Qualifiers:
- Europe: August 29–30;
- Southeast Asia: August 29–30;
- China: August 29–30.
BLAST Slam IX

Open Qualifiers:
- Europe: September 9–10;
- Southeast Asia: September 9–10;
- China: September 17–18.

Closed Qualifiers:
- Europe: September 12–13;
- Southeast Asia: September 12–13;
- China: September 19–20.
The next tournament in the series—BLAST Slam VIII—will take place from September 29 to October 11, with Malta hosting the playoffs. For the first time, the prize pool will be reduced to $750,000—it had previously always been $1,000,000.
