BLAST Slam IX for Dota 2 will be held entirely online
Tournament operator BLAST announced on its official website that the final tournament of the 2026 Dota 2 Slam series will be held online from November 20 to 29.
The organizers noted that moving the tournament entirely online will reduce the amount of travel for teams and allow players to focus on their performance, and the tournament format will be similar to that of BLAST Slam VIII.
Open qualifiers for the eighth championship of the series in Europe and Southeast Asia will take place on September 9 and 10, while closed qualifiers will be held on September 12 and 13. In China, the open stage will be held on September 17 and 18, and the closed stage on September 19 and 20.
