Choco Cup Preview: Format, Rosters, and Schedule for the First Day of Play

Tomorrow, June 23, the opening matches of the Choco Cup will take place. The tournament format, team rosters, prize pool distribution, and schedule for the first day of play are detailed below.
Format
Eight teams are divided into two groups and will compete in a modified GSL format with best-of-three series. The top two teams from each group will advance.
In the playoffs, participants will be placed in a two-tier bracket. The Grand Final will be a best-of-three series, while all other series in this stage will be best-of-two.

The Choco Cup will take place online from June 23 to 28. The organizers will award a total of $3,000 among the eight teams. Participants in the recently concluded South American qualifiers for The International 2026 will also compete in the tournament.
