Collapse commented on the victory over Vici Gaming in the group stage of the 2026 Esports World Cup in Dota 2

Team Spirit offlaner Magomed “Collapse” Khalilov spoke on the team’s Telegram channel about their victory over Vici Gaming in the group stage of the 2026 Esports World Cup in Dota 2.
Hey everyone. We played against Vici Gaming, took the series 2-0, and won. I’ll quickly go over the maps. The first map was a little tough for us at the start. I think there were two key moments there. The first was when Dan and I were ganked—both of us got killed. And the second was the fight at Roshan, where we misjudged who to focus on. After that fight, we realized we needed to kill Terrorblade and just kite them. That’s exactly what happened in the following fights: we kited them out, killed Terrorblade, and from there, we just naturally won. We took Roshan, and that was it—game over.
In the second game, we had a slightly rough start—at least speaking for myself. But then the game evened out; I ran around a bit, farmed here and there. Then, basically, I went into their jungle—two Sapphires attacked me there, and I took them both down. Necrophos showed up there too, and I gave him a *** [to the head] as well. And after that, I think their whole game fell apart, and we just wiped them out. We’re playing again tomorrow—come out, cheer us on, and support us. Thanks, everyone.
