Cr1t on a possible retirement: “I don’t know, maybe it’s just temporary.”

Team Falcons support player Andreas “Cr1t-” Frank Nielsen discussed the possibility of retiring in an interview at the 2026 Dota 2 Esports World Cup and shared his most memorable moments from his career.
On Retiring
[Your teammates aren’t giving off the most positive vibes—are you planning to retire?] I don’t know, maybe just temporarily, like the Chinese do.
On Memorable Moments in His Career
I think winning The International, but to be honest, the first two Majors with OG were… yeah, I think those will stand out. The feeling I had when I won them was completely different from winning TI. Because I was 19, it was amazing, you know, but winning the biggest tournament of the year later in my career didn’t feel like anything new anymore.
On moving to Europe
I miss American food; at first in Europe, I struggled with not getting enough calories. I especially miss Mexican food and tacos.
Earlier, Team Falcons lost to Vici Gaming 0–2 in the quarterfinals of the 2026 Esports World Cup in Dota 2 and finished in 5th–8th place at the tournament. The team earned $70,000 and 200 EWC Club Championship points.
